Montessori Refresher Courses: Assistant or Advanced Hybrid (Online & In-Class)

This course is ideal for people who wish to review and improve their Montessori practice. It will empower them as they confidently integrate Montessori principles and present materials to the children. Participants have the flexibility to select content they wish to review.

Course Content Includes:

Access to videos that demonstrate intermediate to advanced level Montessori materials, approximately 3 hour per week of self – study
In class practice with materials
Classroom management review
Daycare and Preschool best practices in Montessori pedagogy review
Implementing the Montessori method in the classroom review

Learning Outcomes:

At the end of this course participants will be able to:

Present Montessori materials with more confidence
Lesson and program plan to meet children’s developmental needs
Support effective group management while serving individual needs
Gain a deeper understanding of the Montessori theory and methodology

Required Book:

At the Heart of Montessori 1 Core Principles by Clare Healy Walls
The book can be purchased at Amazon.ca for approximately $18.55.

Prerequisite:

Students must have completed the MPTC Foundation, Assistant or Advanced Course. Students must have access to Montessori materials.
Students must be 16 years old or over.

In Class Sessions Attendance is required at all 7 classes

Spare day: December 9, 2023

Winter Dates: Saturday March 9, 16, 23 and April 6, 13, 20 and 27, 2024
