Montessori Early Childhood Introductory Course Online

This course is ideal for parents, caregivers or early childhood educators who wish to learn more about Montessori education for the 2.5 to 4.5 year old child. An introduction to the Montessori pedagogy and implementation of the method at home and in the classroom are explored.

The course consists of five (5) modules and two (2) instructor led Zoom sessions; two hours each.

Students have access to the online content for 7 weeks.

Students receive a certificate upon successful course completion.

Course Content includes:

An introduction to Montessori philosophy
Access to videos that demonstrate early Montessori materials
Albums that give clear instructions on how to present the materials
A basic understanding of the Montessori method implementation

Learning Outcomes:

At the end of this course, participants will be able to:

Offer engaging and stimulating activities to children in the classroom or at home
Integrate Montessori principles that foster calmness, concentration, and self-discipline in the child
Recognize various basic areas of child development
Be aware of the child’s developmental needs
