Montessori Early Childhood Advanced Course Hybrid (Online & In-Class)

The course is designed for people who have completed the Foundation or Assistant Course. It provides more in-depth knowledge of the Montessori philosophy and methodology. It also serves as a refresher for individuals who wish to enhance their understanding and presentation skills with advanced Montessori materials. 

The course consists of eight (8) modules.

Students have access to online content for thirteen (13) weeks.

Students receive a certificate upon successful completion.

Course Content includes:

  • An in-depth study of the Montessori philosophy
  • Access to videos that demonstrate intermediate to advanced level Montessori materials, approximately 3 hour per week of self -study
  • Supervised in-class practice with Montessori materials
  • Albums for each area of the classroom, giving clear directions on presenting the materials   
  • A deeper understanding of the implementation of the Montessori method
  • Review and enhanced classroom management skills 
  • Daycare and Preschool best practices in Montessori pedagogy

Learning Outcomes:

At the end of this course, participants will be able to:

  • Present intermediate and advanced Montessori material in all curriculum areas
  • Offer engaging and stimulating activities to children preschool to kindergarten age 
  • Teach reading, writing, and math
  • Integrate Montessori principles that promote calmness, concentration, and self-discipline in the child 
  • Identify the unique needs of children in various areas of their development
  • Understand and respond to children effectively and efficiently
  • Work in childcare settings
  • Make a difference in the lives of children
  • Lesson and program plan to meet children’s developmental needs up to kindergarten level
  • Support effective group management while serving individual needs

  • The book can be purchased at Amazon.ca for approximately $18.55 CAD

Prerequisite:

  • Successful completion of MPTC Foundation or Assistant Course Students must have access to Montessori materials
  • Students must be at least 16 years of age
